School Not-so-bad Woes

OK, so we cut a piece of the blanket. He thinks it might make it worse. I told him he did not have to take it, but he wanted to try it so...
He had only a few tears when he left the house with Gary this morning. We told him that every time he thought of me and was sad to touch the blanket and hopefully it will help him to feel better.

We prayed that he would not be sad all day. I told him that I was praying for him not to be sad and for him to pray too when he gets sad.

::Sigh:: I'll update when he gets home. He can tell me how it went.

Thank you for all the encouragement and advice. You guys are the best.

And if this sound a little stiff it is because I am typing with one hand and holding Olivia. :-)

It's just going to take some time to get back into the swing of things. Remember his swing is different this year. Not only is he a first grader and have homework, but he also has two new family members!
