The $150 I got from my mom and mom in law for my birthday back in June, a birthday that I spent in the hospital when my girl's were 5 days old. That sucked by the way.
It calls to me everyday to spend it; calling, beckoning, begging to be spent. As a self-proclaimed shopaholic I fight the urge every day. I even have MyPoints available that I can cash in on a gift card to put with my cash so I could really get crazy. We are on a tight budget and there are plenty of things I need; clothes being the glaringly obvious one. But, dang it! I really want to spend it on
this
or this
or even the heavenly this
Gary would like to pool our money and get this...
But we need this
or this
We really need these for our bathrooms and dining room, plus one for the kitchen.

Oh Sara, Sara, Sara! I HATE these kinds of dilemmas. Good luck!! :0)
Spend it on yourself...all of it. Everything else will still be there...you need your sanity!
I vote for the crockpot and maybe a 30 min massage. It's practical and extravagant!
I agree...practical is the right choice...but that Nikon camera I know is calling your name! good luck with making a choice
You forgot to add diapers to your list!!! For Mothers day I received $300 from my parents to spend at a spa-do you know I feel so guilty because we have soo many things we need that I havent spent it yet,,I voe for the camera because everyone will enjoy it in years to come when you are looking back at the pictures ;)
Sara,
I don't know which Nikon you are looking at, but I have the D60 - got it for mother's day & it takes FABULOUS PHOTOS!! In fact, it's basically point & shoot - no need to read the instructions - LOL!! Although, the instructions would help with the more complex shooting! The only bad pictures are usually due to operator failure or the camera chose the wrong point of focus (probably operator failure as well!).
Cindy
I vote camera. Best money I ever spent
